Covid-19 Policies

Your safety, along with the safety of our staff and doctors, is our #1 priority.

We follow protocols from the CDC, the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Northwestern Medicine, Kane County, and the State of Illinois.

Before arriving at our office

If you are experiencing covid-like symptoms (runny nose, headache, cough, sore throat, fever, loss of smell, or taste), please call us at 630.232.1282 to reschedule your appointment. Please wait to visit our practice and follow CDC recommendations: What to do if you are sick- CDC Guidelines.

Masks

We require all patients and visitors to wear masks inside our office. Our staff is required to wear masks as well. Please remember to have your mask always cover your nose and mouth. Do not remove your mask unless asked to do so by your provider. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, please call our office before your appointment to discuss special arrangements with you. A physician’s note will be required. If there is no note from a doctor or previous arrangements were not made, we will be unable to provide service to those patients (and your companions) without masks.

Check-In

Screenings

To keep everyone who enters our facilities safe, we will ask screening questions about your potential exposure to COVID-19, including current symptoms.

Visitor Policy

Please limit guests that accompany the patient to only those that are needed.

Optical Shop

Our Optical Shop practices the same procedures of requiring masks and limiting visitors to only necessary ones.

Thank you for your understanding. All efforts are designed to assure the highest level of safety for you, our staff, and our doctors.
